Featured projects
George Davies Centre
CPW developed The University of Leicester's pioneering new £42m facility for their College of Medicine, as well as accommodation for their Biological Sciences and Psychology departments, housing over 2,350 students and staff. It is currently the UK’s largest PassivHaus building, setting the tone for sustainable building design.
Ben Ainslie Racing HQ
CPW worked alongside HGP Architects on the prestigious Ben Ainslie Racing (BAR) headquarters in the heart of Portsmouth.
The £12m facility provides state-of-the-art boat design, construction and development of the Ben Ainslie Racing, America’s Cup boats. Also included is a sports science and fitness suite, a visitors’ centre and VIP suite, features of which truly set the centre apart from others within the category.
GSK Zero Carbon Building
We were delighted to be appointed to construct Glaxo Smith Kline’s first-ever pioneering zero-carbon building - a project which went through £600,000 of Value Engineering to make sure the client was getting 100% added value.
55 Colmore Row
CPW was proud to develop this multi-million pound Grade ‘A’ office, equipped with everything workers of tomorrow need to work effectively and efficiently. From collaborative laboratories and research areas to outdoor terraces with WiFi connectivity, this prestigious HQ was built to last, aiming to satisfy the growing demands of the business for at least the next 30 years.
Amazon Sortation Centre
This ambitious new 334,000ft2 sortation centre in Medway transports parcels to delivery stations received from Amazon’s fulfillment centres. The complex comprises an automatic warehouse facility, adjoining offices, an external yard, car park, and gatehouse.
CPW provided energy-efficient and sustainable lighting, ventilation, domestic water supply, and a full mechanical and electrical services design. A fire alarm system, security system, and automatic controls were also installed by our team. We also provided extensive soundproofing and anti-vibration technology to isolate the noise in plant rooms.
Paintworks
CPW helped redevelop Printworks on the River Avon, which is now considered one of Bristol's key creative hubs. Our team built 210 homes ranging from one and two-bed apartments to two, three, and four-bed houses alongside 6700m2 of commercial space.
Bicester Eco Town
Bicester Eco Town is a prestigious new £80m development providing 228 new energy-efficient homes. Built to the highest manufacturing standards, the development is powered by a central heat network and features rainwater harvesting, smart metering, and energy monitoring systems, solar panels and innovative remote electric car charging stations.
