SMART Buildings

SMART World

SMART enabled buildings will form the SMART sustainable cities of the future.  These will be more connected, more resource efficient and more environmentally responsible than anything we have experienced before.

Scaleable, future-ready infrastructure will provide the backbone of any project; delivering ubiquitous wireless coverage for network access to support the ever-evolving Internet of Things (IoT).

Connected ‘intelligent buildings’, where analytical tools and applications use captured data to generate actionable information to enhance building performance, will become the norm.

This is an exciting area of development, and our team of consultants can provide a full range of end-to-end tailored professional services to support the delivery of digital and clean growth agendas.

It all begins once the clients’ vision has been translated into a SMART strategy.  In the first instance, this strategy could be designed around a single building, or it could encompass an entire estate or campus.  We can guide our clients through the process to realise their vision and enhance the end-user experience – be that as a building user, or as a building operator.

Featured project

CPW joined teams with West Ham United to redevelop Chadwell Heath Academy, forming an enhanced indoor football pitch and a contemporary refurbishment of the existing building.

This expansion allowed for new staff offices and a viewing gallery for parents and coaches. Combined with all new state-of-the-art medical, fitness, analysis, and education spaces, it sets a new standard for football facilities in the UK.
