Graphic Design and Marketing Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Design and Marketing Assistant to join us at CPW, based at our Solihull Office. This is a permanent, full-time position working 36.25 hours per week under our agile framework.

Through the application of research-led design, innovation, and sustainable methodologies we can create tailored solutions that meet the needs of our clients, whilst also being positive for the environment and delivering on net-zero carbon.

Key Responsibilities

Required:

  • Create visual designs and marketing collateral ensuring alignment with our brand standards and campaign objectives for print and digital

  • Creation of promotional materials e.g. brochures, presentations, flyers, models – liaising with agencies where needed

  • Video production

  • Photography (staff, projects and events)

  • Email marketing

  • Ability to take in complex information and repurpose in a user-friendly written format e.g. white papers, articles, press releases, social media content, presentations

Desired:

  • Awareness of SEO

  • Press/media experience would be advantageous

  • Understanding of marketing concepts and tools

Your Experience & Qualifications

Applicants should have 1-3 years’ experience in a graphic design, marketing, communications, or creative role and require experience in the following;

  • Graphic design skills

  • Proficient with Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PremierPro)

  • Photography and videography experience

  • Experience with CMS e.g. Squarespace

  • Creative minded person with an eye for detail

  • Experience of working in a fast past environment, with a record of delivering successful projects in a timely manner

  • Strong project and people management skills

  • Experience in liaising with external agencies, as well as in-house teams

  • An understanding of digital channels to ensure content is delivered with best practice in mind

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Experience in developing and implementing effective marketing creative improvements

  • Proven track record of continuous improvement

  • A collaborative team player, with strong influencing skills

  • Highly organised with an ability to prioritise and drive multiple projects at one time

  • Able to work under own initiative

  • Strong sense of urgency and a desire to see tasks completed on time and in full

  • Excellent in building trust and relationships internally and externally

  • Strong IT Skills – including Microsoft Office and the Adobe Suite
