The Gisbert Kapp Building houses the School of Electronic, Computer and Electrical Engineering.

Containing teaching accommodation, laboratories and lecture theatres, the building is also home to the Ergonomics Information Analysis Centre – one of Europe’s largest repositories for user-centred design.

As well as a completely new façade with improved insulation and air tightness, we incorporated a number of energy efficient features.
The project delivered a building that was lifted from a Display Energy Certificate of F to an Energy Performance Certificate of B.
