11 Station Street is a new landmark development in the heart of Nottingham city centre, providing extensive and visually striking 50,000sq ft Grade A office accommodation in the most well-connected location, moments from Nottingham Transport Hub.
Set across five-storeys as well as offering secure basement parking, the site features an impressive reception and meeting area, roof garden and large open floor plates, this scheme is sure to attract high-profile and influential organisations, bringing with them the brightest employees and important clientele.
Given its locality immediately adjacent to both a canal and a pedestrianised zone of Station Street, we had the challenge of overcoming considerable site constraints.
A complex enabling works package was required to facilitate the demolition of existing building stock, providing a clear site for the new building, as well as ensure close integration with the new build student residential development adjacent to site.
To overcome these issues, we sought to implement desktop surveys of available information and site visits, as well as maintain close liaison with other development’s design team to ensure both buildings are coordinated with and complement one another, requiring continual stakeholder engagement.
Planning application submission was May 2018.
